Position: E-Billing Specialist

Location: West Palm Beach, FL: Hybrid — 3 days in office and 2 days remote after training

Role: Direct Hire

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to manage electronic invoice submissions for a law firm serving large institutional clients. This role requires strong legal billing experience, knowledge of client billing guidelines, and hands-on experience with e-billing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit electronic legal invoices in accordance with client billing guidelines and fee agreements.
• Manage high-volume e-billing workflows while ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Set up new clients and matters within electronic billing platforms.
• Submit invoices, budgets, timekeeper rate requests, and accruals through client billing portals.
• Monitor invoice status, research rejections, and follow up on delayed submissions.
• Prepare and submit appeals for rejected or reduced invoices.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client billing inquiries.
• Coordinate with attorneys and internal finance teams to address billing issues and complete special projects.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal e-billing experience, preferably within a law firm.
• Hands-on experience submitting electronic invoices through third-party e-billing platforms.
• Strong understanding of outside counsel guidelines, client billing requirements, and legal invoicing procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting rejected invoices and managing appeals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple billing deadlines.
